Evaluation

The film I have created successfully conforms to the codes and conventions as it incorporates the 180 degree rule, it uses match on action and various effects to make it suitable for the Sci-fi Comedy genre. 

A school or other education sector that incorporates the teaching of media studies might distribute my film project as a basis for teaching film editing. Another reason it may be used as a basis for teaching is because it has been made by a previous media student and could be used to represent the quality of the projects that new students will be required to make. 

The audience for my media product would be new media students and teachers as it would be used for educational purposes. However, the film is not strictly confined to the use of educational purposes and can be shown to anyone as it does not contain any vulgar or violent material.

The audience has been attracted by complying to the specifications set out by the exam board so that it can be used as an effective method of representation of the specifications for A Level film projects. 

From this project I have learnt the basics and also more advanced techniques of film making. As I have used Adobe Premier Pro I have had to teach myself the basics of this professional software package. The software I used allowed me to do effects and transitions that would not be available on a more basic set-up.
